| In December 2006, I received my new Permobil C500 electric wheelchair through ATG Designing Mobility. A huge thank you to Permobil & Department of Rehabilitation! Before getting my wheelchair, Department of Rehabilitation set me up with a wheelchair evaluation through the CART program at Rancho Los Amigos. It is important to have a wheelchair evaluation, so you can thoroughly find out what is the best wheelchair for you and also what other special modifications are needed. |
| Features: * electronic foot plate (it raises up and down; plus it's spring loaded to flip open/close for access) * seat elevator (raises seat up to higher counters) * electronic chest pad (used like a seat belt) * seat recliner (for comfort and repositioning) * custom bag (for storage and it's attached to electronic chest pad for accessability) |
